Surprise flowers

In the middle of the afternoon a delivery driver arrived with some flowers. I’ve seen the driver a few times and as always I was nice to him. He bought the flowers for me as he’d been having a bad time recently and my being nice to him has helped. What a pleasant surprise.

My lawnmower is not working at the moment so Nigel cut my grass for me and then we’ve cooked dinner together.
