Stunning structures

Swakopmund is such a pretty town, everything works, the streets are clean, the people exceptionally friendly and the architecture really well looked after. We were sad to leave, but it was great to see Arnie walking out of the hospital, a little weak, but he made the journey to Windhoek well and enjoyed a couple of alcohol free beers as we waited for the flight.

Our driver was great, making sure Arnie had the most comfortable seat in his bus, and we were home in no time.

A lovely raucous welcome from the pooches made it extra special to be home. Milly seemed to sense there was a problem and was a lovely gentle girl, while Mr W did his usual wiggling around to say hello.
