Relaxed

As we live at opposite ends of the country, our daughters can’t just ‘pop in’ as many others do, so the fact that Clair decided to come up here on her own, just to see us, was a very welcome event.

A lovely couple days: we have had the chance to be with her, to talk with her, without granddaughters taking over; she has had a chance to relax, be looked after and has not had to get up in the morning to take dogs out, get girls organised.

She is now home - all trains working well.

I decided to blip this portrait as these few days have been about her - in a few weeks the whole family are coming up and she won’t stand a chance when there are three teenage girls around!
