I had hoped to be in the garden today but the weather wasn’t playing ball, so I did some more sorting in the spare room. 
I came across a gardening book that had been my Nana’s. In it were lots of newspaper cuttings, gardening columns with ideas for planting etc. One of them was from 1967. I was rather taken with the adverts…
