Lions and tigers and zebras oh my

We have been very lucky to have such wonderful, warm weather for the school holidays during winter. We are all headed into the zoo today. Bailee was bursting with excited energy, she was going to see her Zebras. Bailee at the age of 2years old decided that she loved zebras, she sleeps and carries around about 4 stuffed zebras, her favourite being zoey zebra from peppa pig, the others however are all just as loved. The obsession has trickled over to her liking anything black and white, the zebra colours, she now collects anything black and white or anything zebra looking. This was to be our first stop at the zoo. we were here for a while, I must admit they are rather stunning, I really tested my zoom with this photo as they were tucked away in the far corner, almost out of reach.

Maddi loved the Giraffes, who shared the pen with the zebras, they were equally as beautiful. Very gracefully and gentle, eyelashes to kill for.

Lara surprised me when I asked her what her favourite was. The hyenas I would never of guessed it. To her they were A large dog. Makes perfect sense.

We bumped into Tarryn in the zoo line, she was babysitting for another family, with girls Maddi and Bailees ages. After a shy hello, they soon warmed up to each other as kids that age do, and were sharing snacks, and chatting happily.

The crowds got to Bailee in the end, to many people pushing and fighting their way through. Bailee has never like a large amount of people. We almost saw everything, the main things everyone wanted to see were accomplished. No zoo trip is complete without a carouse ridel, all the girls laughed and waved from the horses that bobbed up and down.

They are home now playing zoos, Pa bought each girl a favourite stuffed animal from the gist shop, Maddi a baby giraffe, Lara a hyena, and Bailee picked a baby tiger, (no zebras available ) a Tigers because Mummy barracks for them.
