Sapped

A day of sunshine and some heavy showers. The apple blossoms are splendid just now. These flowers are on a Christmas Pearman apple tree on our patio.

I’ve caught the cold Andy has had all week so I’ve been feeling sapped of energy and have rested most of the day. I’ve used some of my time on the sofa to research wormeries. I’m considering getting one to convert our vegetable waste into nutritious compost for the garden.

Grateful:
- To have the energy to walk Merlin first thing but then have time to rest.
- To sit in warm sunshine in the garden and watch the birds foraging in the oak tree and hedges.
- The mini-munch cucumbers I sowed a few weeks ago are germinating.
