A day out and about

in the area around Shingdwezi. We had leisurely start and David drove along several small roads looking for animals. This is a selection of what we found today - so many elephant, loads of impala, zebra and gnu.
In the blip:
A Waterbuck mother was still feeding her rather large calf; the zebra having a bit of an argument; a buffalo just finished a mud bath and a very lazy elephant getting water straight from the water tank, rather than the pool where it ends up - and seemingly falling asleep whilst so doing!
Another hot and humid day.
Yvonne made a delicious Mac and beef meal - but the naughty vervets caught us off guard and stole the bag of dry macaroni so David had to hot foot it to the shop to buy some more!  They are so quick and. very cheeky coming right into the "kitchen" area; not bothered by us at all.
