Not long now

Not long to wait until our beautiful rhododendron puts on its annual spectacle. I know I blip it every year around this anniversary, but it is very special.
We have an engineer here at the moment checking our burglar alarm. It went off when we were on holiday last week and again this week, much to the annoyance of our neighbours, so it has to be sorted. I know we have to have it, but I hate it!
N played golf today, the first time since the autumn! He uses a buggy and buggies have been restricted because of wet. He played just eight holes and had a very good time, even though he lost.it was good to get out in the fresh air. He saw a pair of pheasants with chicks, walking up the fairway.
