Saturday afternoon in the garden

It was another beautiful day. After lunch J and I spent some time in the garden, eating dessert and watching birds and clouds, and I had a lovely, quiet time wandering round with my camera, enjoying the light on and through trees, shrubs and flowers. The old pear tree close to the house has perfect white blossom on gnarled branches, and I liked contrast of the rich, red stems and vividly green leaves in the extra.
