Rainy prayer walk

Today definitely wasn’t Ibiza!!
Each week for the last few months I’ve prayer walked Ripon with a now dear friend.
I’ve loved the prayer adventures that the Lord has taken us on as we’ve often turned up with no agenda, or perhaps a slight sense of where to head, but delighted at what He has unpacked to us from His heart for Ripon and the people and churches there each time !
It’s been profound !!

Today one of the pastor’s wives had asked Karen if she wanted to join her prayer walking after seeing something on one of the FB groups about men approaching young females in a specific area.
So the 3 of us set out to cover this area in prayer and of course found ourselves praying into a variety of other unexpected things as the Lord led our time.

It was really sweet as it always is.
And the rain soon stopped.
Thankfully I’d just washed my hair so that didn’t matter, and I LOVED the many streets lined with bursts of pink splendour from the many spectacular blossom trees!!!


A snippet from a portion of my journal earlier today that I wanted to share:

I love & adore you my Jesus & my King.
And I feel the waves of excitement stirring in my spirit for all to come.
I feel Redding on the horizon again!!!

Oh dad may it be so!
How, I do not know.
Only you know, but may it be so!!!

Love you my God & my King!
But until the day comes for me to step foot back there,
I will be faithful with today.
For today is a gift in itself.
And I do not want to miss what you have in the present for me.

So I take a deep breath of you in & honour you my King.
Thank you for holding today in your hands.
