It's there if you look for it!

Usually when it has been raining and dark for several days, you tend to focus on just that, gray sky, wet leaves, and the feeling of being tired and depressed.

Because I work in a salon, and talk with people all day, I hear what they say, especially in a week like this has been. " I can't stand this rain! When is it going to end? Everything is so bleak, there's nothing to do!"

When I got home from work, I thought about what we were all talking about. I had not yet taken a photo for the day, and was wondering where I should go in the rain, for my blip. As I headed for my car, not knowing where to go, I glanced in the yard. "Wait! I don't have to go anywhere! It's all right here!"
Despite the rain, there was so much beauty right in front of me. As I walked over to the flower garden, I looked down on the lawn, and found another 4 leaf clover!
There were buds popping out on the rose bushes, on the huge hosta plant, and the tiger lilies. The Shasta daisies were reaching out, trying to find some light.
As I stood there, in the wet grass, everything in the garden had taken on its own special beauty. The rain has made everything so lush and green!

I find some amount of joy in a simple daisy, laden with raindrops!
