They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Typically, I find more often that the cover somewhat over-judges the content. This one, however, is the opposite.
The subtitle implied something a bit preach'y and the endorsements, especially the Independent's, are just so off the mark its unreal. Thus, it sat on the 'to read' pile for months.
I don't think I've read anything this enlightening for a very long time. It's simply the working life story of an astronaut, and it is excellent.
