Tiny Tulips

A rather miserable day but at least our temperatures didn't drop below zero last night.

From the lounge window the wee tulips are hidden from view but I spotted them as I was reversing out of the drive. They are growing in the shelter of the new poppy leaves which are at least three times the height of the tulips.

I'm off down to Northumberland next week ..... just a few days and long enough for a visit to Durham ...... a visit on my bucket list. A quick jaunt to Silverburn to purchase a few bit and pieces for an April break.
