So, Amber’s grown a bit in the almost 8 years since I last blipped her! I mistakenly wrote that I hadn’t been here for 7 years in my blip yesterday, but when I looked back, my previous blip was actually from summer 2016!
So, she’s gone from a crazy little bubba, to an absolutely lovely little girl - sweet, kind and funny. I’m sorry I missed blipping the cute blonde ringlets she had as a toddler, or when she did ballet and wore a tiny little tutu! She now does tap dancing, and street dancing, and loves musical theatre. She’s learning to play the electric guitar and she was recently Chip in her dance school’s production of Beauty and the Beast. She loves animals and will be the first to offer to hold a snake, and she spends time carefully tapping and removing snails from our drive, to avoid them being squished (she then puts them on our flowers, so when she’s not looking I lob them over the garden wall!). I feel like I’m writing her a character reference, but really I just meant to catch her up on here. Today I bought this climbing rope thing to add to our swing set - I only popped into Lidl for doughnuts, but I saw this and knew she’d love it… she’s not an athletic child at all (I mean, who could be with legs that skinny?), but she’s always been a climber.
