WHAT IT SAYS

I got home and Googled "swans with black necks" and it told me they're black-necked swans from South America. I wonder what these two think about being on a pond in a garden centre in a Durham colliery village.

We stopped there for lunch having heard good things about it, and it was packed even at noon, and the food was plentiful, rib-sticking and reasonably priced which was good because I'm abandoning B this evening for a night out with the Wild Girls and he'll have to forage so this will have filled him up. We'd been to get some techie stuff done on one of his guitars which he was frustrated about because it's something he could have done easily before his sight deteriorated so much. He used to repair instruments and electronics for older people back in the day, and now it's our turn to give the work to the next generation, so the big lunch was also to cheer him up a bit.
