Wednesday: University of Belize

Some days offer few blip opportunities and some have plenty.  Today was definitely the latter.

I started the day in Belize City to attend the opening of the new Museum of Belizean Art.  That’s exciting in itself as it’s the first museum of its kind in Belize.

I then headed back down to Belmopan to visit a lab at the University of Belize to admire some equipment that we had donated.  Then on to a launch event for 10 environmental scholarships that the UK is funding.

That was followed by a reception at home to celebrate said scholarships.

This is the University of Belize.  It’s small but has a definite charm.
