Peninsula Light

Wood Pigeon on top of a budding Rowan tree with a few spits of rain falling and the colour bands of a rainbow behind.

Not my favourite bird species, with their tendency to clear all of any food that's going. Last Summer, they made themselves most unpopular when they stripped one of my Blackcurrant bushes of every single berry, by using their weight to bring the branches to the ground, and then working their way along each branch. They gorged the lot. The swines!
