La belle France, enfin! - Jour 7

The medieval town of Cadillac, Entre Deux Mers

After yesterday’s nightmare traffic, decided to stay fairly local today and headed to Cadillac. A cool 13 degrees when we got there this morning but a pleasant 17 degrees when we headed home at the end of the afternoon.

After visiting the imposing ducal chateau, to the local brasserie for a lovely lunch of all my favourites (Kir Pêche, Salade au Chèvre Chaud, Mousse au Chocolat), then back to the chateau as we wanted to explore further, followed by a stroll around the village and down to the river Garonne.

In extras: Chateau de Cadillac and scenes from around the village, including an interesting way how to dry your laundry, as well as reminders that you’re in wine country. Oh, and I’ve hidden a selfie that MH again insisted I added, she will check!
