Burnt Orchid

Fabulous last minute blipmeet with HilarysView when she introduced me to two wonderful fields where orchids can be found at this time of year. I had no idea such beautiful varieties existed. We also saw Man, Spider, Fly and Birds Nest orchids. See extra. A great way to spend a wet hour.

We woke up to a lot of snow and it continued to snow on and off all day on the mountain. After the orchid viewing, I met a friend to buy materials for work and we had a walk along the Grand Canal to the campsite restaurant, avoiding the rain showers.
