Along the canal

Amazing blue sky and clouds on my lunchtime walk.
Went down to check on the Common gulls, they looked like they were starting to sit on eggs a few days ago, I was disappointed to find not a single gull at the breeding site, there should have been about 100. It was very quiet. I have no idea what could have happened to make them move but it was obviously serious. No chick blips for me this year.
