Missing cat
As we hadn't seen Whisky since last week and he is not a cat to wander, I spent yesterday evening putting 'missing cat' notices through doors. My neighbours were great, checking their sheds and saying that they would look out for him for me.
This morning there was still no sign of him, so I went out to take my daughter to school and to go to my opticians appointment. When I got home I had barely got out of the car when one of my neighbours called me over. She had seen Whisky on her shed roof this morning and even managed to get hold of him, but as soon as she got to the footpath at the end of our cottages he had managed to wriggle away and run back to the sheds. Brilliant news, at least he wasn't hurt or locked in a shed somewhere.
I tried calling him in all day, but no luck. When my son got home he went down the footpath to look for Whisky and eventually found him at 8 o'clock. He's downed a few bowls of cat food (the cat, not my son) and seems fine. We have no idea as to why we hadn't seen him for so long, other than maybe he didn't want to come in when the weather is so nice outside.
