A special guest

Got loads of photos of Colin Montgomerie today at the Open Championship Local Final Qualifying round at Gullane. It was a bit dreich so I went indoors and found there was a special guest in the clubhouse...the Claret Jug. If we wanted to hold it we had to wear gloves, many folk were getting their photo with it. It was fascinating reading the names of the famous champion golfers, knowing they had had their hands on it. Holding the Jug is like walking over the Swilken Burn Bridge, you know its history!
