The old pier
Tuesday dawned sunny and bright so Bertie and I headed off to Calgary for our walk. Although there weren’t many folk about, we avoided the beach and took the track along the edge of the bay as far as the old pier which is built of beautiful pink Ross of Mull granite. It was very wet along the track after the rain of the past few days and I noticed that a number of the larger puddles had tadpoles swimming in them. I hope the weather stays damp enough to keep them hydrated sufficiently until they turn into little frogs.
