Coppet, Switzerland

A DIY breakfast at the hotel followed by time to pack the car. We investigated the route to the airport but then had 3hrs to play with. We decided to escape the Geneva traffic and travelled a short way up the north shore again, this time to Coppet. We enjoyed sitting in the sun at this harbour, watching the world go by. On large, to the left of the boat you can just make out Jet d'Eau and there's also a plane preparing to land at Geneva, we were watching them all come in.

We have had a great week, just sorry it is over. I was also sad to say goodbye to the wonderful car, it has become a good friend and was a pleasure to drive. Leaving Geneva in 28 degree sunshine we weren't too impressed with arriving in Liverpool in 14 degree rain!!!

I was pleased to discover last night that my photo of the ice tunnel won the weekly challenge last week. :-)

It is strange to be back home again. Only two days to go before the next mini adventure!!! I'd better get the washing done!
