Walnut leaves

Amongst other things planted four rows of chickpeas. A slightly cooler day at a max of 19.6 and min of 6C.

Strimming and rotavating. Heard hobby hawk calling a few days back but nothing since. Seems to be a paucity of migrant birds. Have been reading reports of a Hoopoe on the Isle of May in the Firth of Forth but still to see one here. I’m wondering if the fantastic ally powerful southerly Scirocco supercharged by the jet stream has caused lots of migrant birds to overshoot northwards?
