And the rain came

We have been getting warnings about the storm today, supposedly the worst for over 20 years. Boy it hit hard we had three intense periods of rain, which flooded the drainage system and roads. Estimates are over 100mm fell today in the city.

Everyone is encouraged to work from home if they can. 

UPDATE:
Storm brings 75-year record rain, the weather bureau says the highest rainfall was recorded in the Khatm Al Shakla area in Al Ain, reaching 254mm in less than 24 hours.
