I was really lucky to have the day off as it’s Poppy’s last day at home before returning to Cardiff tomorrow. We went to Saffron Walden with mum and dad which didn’t go completely to plan as we were hoping to have lunch in The Goat and Grass but they were shut for renovations. We ended up in Cafe Cou Cou which was very nice but a bit cramped and poor old mum had to keep getting up and down to let people pass.
Johnnie is here tonight and we had steak and beans for dinner. Currently watching a film before Poppy gets on with her packing.
