Noticed on my way to Sit and Keep Fit that 4 new shelters had been put up round the village bowling green.
The grass had been cut and it looks in good condition.  As yet haven't seen anyone playing bowls.

An appointment with my optician this afternoon to check my left eye.
All well after the cataract op but not quite as good as my right eye, which he said was to be expected.
I am now having the lenses changed in my long distance glasses ( not needed now) to reading glasses. One normal pair and one sunglasses.  

Came out and straight into a squally shower. 
Took shelter in the market and fortunately it only lasted a few minutes. 
Then caught the bus home in brilliant sunshine.
