Frothy blossom

The Blackthorn blossom seems to have survived the strong wind and hail-laced showers that we have had over the last couple of days. I think this is one of the prettiest blossoms just because it is so delicate and has a frothy appearance at a distance.
I put on full wet weather gear for Bertie’s morning walk after getting soaked yesterday and, guess what, it stayed dry throughout our wander!
