Squirrel triptych

As a bit of entertainment for the squirrel (and me) I attached a long piece of bamboo to our garden arch, and suspended a bird feeder from it. I thought, if nothing else, the shiny surface of the bamboo might at least present a small challenge for it to overcome.

And how long did it take the squirrel to navigate said obstacle? About a minute, Tim. A minute. It took me longer to attach the blummin' bamboo in the first place.
