200 years..

..since my 2 x great grandparents arrived as lay missionaries in New Zealand.    This weekend the wider family have had an informal get together  to acknowledge their life and the contribution they made to our country's  early history and have revisted places which played an important part in their lives.  While there is little of a controversial nature in their lives revisiting ouur early colonial history is really confronting. The history I was taught at school was simply wrong, very wrong.
