Peeping out..

What a wild and windy and wet day it has been. The little bird woke up and left the nest pretty early this morning and spent a good deal of time furnishing the nest with lots of short grass strips, and feathers today the little cup is developing and the bee hasn't put in an appearance today.  Most of the day the bird didn't revisit but come the evening there was another flurry of building before tucking in to the nest to sleep around 7.30.
Rather pathetically I didn't venture out today .. just too cold and blowy to be much fun and Jasper didn't stay out long either. I was very pleased she came in before the hail storm.. it was heavy and dramatic with even higher gusts of wind and the world turned white very fast.
