Unfurling Flags

A later afternoon walk after a morning volunteering at the museum.  The sun was out when I started, but it had clouded over on the way back.  But warm.  The leaves of the yellow flag irises along the riverside path are rising above the floodwaters.  I look forward to their blooms in a couple of months.
