Damp day

Heavy rain on the roof during the night was not as loud as the camper roof but still loud. Rained on and off all day but when it stopped it was really sunny, but so cold. Damp morning walk and then lots of cleaning. Hubby sorted the garden and I did inside. The cottage is over 300 years old and pipes and wiring are all exposed so we get lots of cobwebs, all gone now. It feels fresh again. Lots of colour appearing in the garden.
Sun shine encouraged us to head down to the river for a walk and before we turned into the woods we got hail. The paths were so muddy and slippery. Now a lovely sunny evening.
Hoping for walk on the moors tomorrow.
