Birthday Table

Mrs Smith’s birthday today. Overnight the kids had decorated the kitchen and so she had a lovely surprise when she got up this morning.

The obligatory birthday cake for breakfast while opening presents. Ossian was working in the cafe and Ruby has more university deadlines. So Mrs Smith, Joe and I headed out for most of the day. There were antique centres, salvage yards, garden centres and country parks. Plus more cake. I think they’ve had a lovely day.
