Truckstop

I saw Kentboy's Blip about yesterday's A6 Shap Event, lorry rally and realised I'd missed it and consequently spent Sunday sitting around the house.   Grrr, much annoyance. This quick mock up of a Port Appin truckstop this afternoon (not a very good attempt at a diorama) settled me down a bit.   ;-)

The three buildings visible L-R are based upon (just in pic;) bakery at Kyleakin, Dealers shop at Cullipoll on Island of Luing and the cafe near Bridge of Cally in 39 Steps, the Kenneth More version.  The three vehicles are a Pollocks of Edinburgh articulated Atkinson, an Oban Express Commer Walkthru van and an Albion of Croans Kippers.
