Common Hazel

Fancy calling a tree 'Common' Hazel (assuming Google is correct). This tree is anything but common. Seen in the Lower Gardens an hour or so ago, where we had a stroll before catching the bus home.

Was extremely blowy as I went out to meet Mr B at Blend for coffee. There is a yellow warning in effect till 10pm. . Cold Northerly winds, and a mix of mostly lovely sun and the odd shower.

Think I'll cheat and enter this for today's MM challenge. It is almost Mono?
