Hail storm!

We parked at Nichol End marina this morning ( a mile across Derwentwater from Keswick )...we were just looking at the boats, and the view, when suddenly we got caught in a hail storm! ( see photo )
Luckily the cafe was open so we had hot drinks and a chocolate orange brownie to warm up!

There was fresh overnight snow on the Helvellyn range, too!

The sun came out in Cockermouth this afternoon...but it's still blowing a hoolie!

Climate change?  Or just strange weather?
