Shortlist

I suppose there could only have been one blip possible on the day it was announced that my book, The Lewis Man, (2nd in the trilogy), was on the shortlist for the Theakston's Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year.

The winner will be announced at an awards dinner on the 18th of July at the Harrogate International Crime Festival. I will be there, of course, with all the other shortlisted authors (your publisher has to guarantee your presence if you are shortlisted).

Interesting that two out of the six are Scots. We are well represented, it seems, in the world of crime (fiction).
