Wild larkspur

Walking up to the top of the hill behind Tate’s house I found a patch of wild larkspur. First time seeing it there.

There were many other little spring flowers blooming and I saw some things I know will flower soon like trillium and trout lilies. One area was carpeted with mayapple plants.

The guys finished up the little construction project so we decided to come home tonight instead of dealing with Monday morning traffic. It was a good drive home with no congestion.
