We’re here!

The journey was long and none of us slept particularly well on the night flight from Heathrow to Sri Lanka. Thankfully the next flight was only 1.5 hours and we could then wait in the very plush hotel lounge before getting the seaplane. By this point Anya was exhausted & getting impatient. Max was excited by the seaplane but his ears hurt from the pressure/height.
We arrived in paradise (the Maldives) to the warmest welcome and felt immediately relaxed as our luggage was taken and delivered to our beach villa, drinks were handed to us, Kunal, our appointed member of staff explained everything to us and we were dipping our feet in the Indian Ocean within minutes. Absolute bliss!
