Sunday: Blackcurrant Flowers

Woke up to a dry and breezy morning. We were both up before 7am, MrD made sandwiches and went off on his motorbike. I filled the washing machine and spent the morning getting batches of clothes dried outdoors in the strong wind, tiny bit of warmth in the sunshine which helped the drying :-)

I ran out of steam by lunchtime but everything was done so relaxing for rest of the day.

MrD cut the grass whilst it was still dry, rain arrived around 6pm and continued all night.

My only gardening job was to pot up 3 more rooted cuttings of Jersey Walking Stick Kale started a few weeks ago.
