Unexpected

Today wasn't quite the nice day off I'd planned. My car wouldn't charge - it kept tripping the electrics so ended up calling out breakdown. He tried a software update, didn't work so then we drove down to West Linton to see what happened on a charger there - it blew that. There was just enough mileage to get it to Mazda at Newbridge. Once there we had to move all my stuff out of the car into the van and he drove me back home again. Meanwhile a courtesy car was organised but they had no delivery slots so S had to drive me to Corstorphine to collect one this afternoon. It's only a few weeks since my car was in for over a week with a faulty starter battery. 

Once the car was collected I was able to pick up the rest of the day that had been planned and head over to a friends at South Queensferry for the night.
