Birding walk

I wasn't going to go but made a last minute positive decision and ended up having a fabulous walk with a Sunday birding group. We were rewarded with yellow wagtails and the cutest 4 lapwing chicks you can imagine :-)
The group was put together by a local farmer who is so generous with his time & we are able to go 'off piste' on his fields. There are some very knowledgeable birders in the group who share their knowledge willingly. 
One of the stubble fields is huge and wild flowers have sprung up since last yrs harvest. One of which is the Common Stork's-bill (Erodium cicutarium)
