Trees in Fairmilehead Park

A lovely sunny start to the day, but feels quite a bit cooler than yesterday. The breeze has increased quite a bit. Cloud cover on the morning walk. The larch trees are greener. The bud on the three small trees are starting to open. There is quite a bit more green on the trees when compared to last week's photo, here. The rain held off until I got home.

After lunch as wee walk towards Morningside until a heavy burst of rain, expected as it was on the Met Office rain radar. We then got the bus for the rest of the journey. Still raining when we came out of the supermarket with weekend groceries. So we waited until after afternoon coffee to go out for a wee walk around the park. In White Lady Wood, a robin was singing away, Extra, nicely lit by the late afternoon sunshine.
