A common dotted border butterfly flitting around the shrubbery at Maitland Reserve Trail this afternoon.

We have moved on again and are na log cabin in the middle of nowhere with woodland view and outdoor bath. It is really quiet and beautiful sitting tonight having a glass of wine listening to the cicadas. Warning abound, 'Don' not feed the monkeys' - what monkeys? I'm hoping what we can hear or think we can hear might mean they come in closer.

The extra is a cocoon which I found hanging by a couple of threads under a bush in Jeffreys Bay. It's about 6' big made of leaves and sticked together with webbing. I need to google it.
