Family Day
Earlier on we met up with L's sisters, S and R and K for a spot of tin pin bowling in Dundee. Been a while since I had played, and it showed! First game only managed 85. A bit better in the next game - 118 - although pipped at the end by S who sneaked a spare with his last ball and ended up with 120. And I didn't manage a single strike in either game. Good fun though, and K was able to play from his wheelchair without much difficulty. It's been so long since I played I didn't know they didn't expect you to change your shoes any more. Afterwards dropped in on Dad in the Ferry and had a brief chat, with a cuppa and an eclair, with him and K.
Almost forgot, football was very mixed. Leeds lost at home for the first time all season, 0-1 to Blackburn in the early kick-off, leaving them now needing Leicester or Ipswich to slip up. But they seem to be wobbling too as Ipswich could only draw after Leicester's defeat on Friday night. Southampton might be coming back into the mix too, having looked out of it a few weeks back. Things are looking better for United - Raith dropped points at home to Partick and if they lose to Caley on Friday that will be it. whatever happens a win for United next Saturday should confirm the title. Fingers crossed, remembering ITHTGY!
