A long wait

It was our intention when we chopped back the leylandii to use the dead branches as a framework for climbers but the Montana seemed very reluctant to perform and last year we convinced ourselves it had given up on the challenge.
Clearly not and the top of the ‘tree vase’ is now covered in flowers. The gov’s Gold Border is looking good as well so plenty to see from the summer house - well until the Norwegian maple gets its leaves……
