This is a close up of a sculpture from COP 26 in Glasgow which ended up being "returned to earth" at the Crichton campus in Dumfries.  Made by the artist Jun Tiburcio, it is called Totem Latamat and it has deliberately  been left out in the open air to decay naturally.  It is going to take a while to disintegrate, despite all the rain and damp weather here.
