Sawyer's Wood

This morning's weather forecast was set fair so a drive into the Lakes was called for.  Rydal or Langdale were our preferred destinations and the car turned left towards Langdale at Ambleside.

We parked at Skelwith Bridge and walked up to Elterwater for coffee and then on to Chapel Stile returning via the Quarry (extra), Sawyer's Wood (extra) and Elterwater hall.  It was a great morning and we stopped at Chester's for lunch which was quite delicious and very busy.
